Favourite Brand and Review: August 15'

So excited to share my experiences, thoughts, pictures and reviews with the beauty and cosmetic world.
I wanted to start with sharing my current makeup stash, my shelf dedicated to my makeup and all related items.
My current favourite beyond favourite brand has recently changed from M.A.C cosmetics to Colourpop cosmetics. I found this amazing and affordable brand when I was studying abroad in the US at Old Dominion University in Norfolk Virginia.

While I was there I took the initiative to inform myself of all the indie cosmetics companies and stock up! There are so many online only and indie makeup companies that are gold minds! Full of absolute gems, and more often then not, they are cheaper than you would ever expect.

Colourpop was just one of the most amazing online companies in which I was lucky enough to realise that they ship to Australia! Winning!

Their strangely mousse like texture to their eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers and my personal favourite their highlighters out stage that of any other brand, especially like I said the highlighters and also the eyeshadows! Also they have super affordable 'lippie stix' and matching lip pencils. A beauty junkies dream! Go and check it out!

After a load of orders I have accumulated a nice little collection for myself including blushes ($8USD), highlighters ($8USD), supershock eyeshadows ($5USD) and their lippie stix and matching pencils ($5USD). Amazing products at an amazing price point.
Another great positive about my new favourite brand is that it has amazing customer service, I had an experience as to when a delivery came and a product was unfortunately smashed (Oh the despair, a makeup lovers worst nightmare), in transit, however, no worries! The colour pop customer service team was straight onto it and after a request of damaged goods a replacement item was sent straight away! They also take on board colour ideas for shadows and lippie stix, who else does that!?! And they take tonnes of customer feedback and respond.

Coming from a beauty enthusiasts point of view, that collaborative items with online personalities makes their products crazy desirable, must haves, cannot live withouts! Such a great way to boost and grow a new business, they have had great success and only just recently celebrated their one year birthday. My personal favourite collabs are:

The company also proudly advertises that they are socially responsible by posting this on their about us page: "PS. We are 100% fur baby friendly, bunny approved, and only test our products on humans – the ones in our HQ to be exact." A very attractive quality in a business.

I could blab on all day about the amazingness of my favourite brand at the moment, Colourpop. From their great price point, to high end quality to personal touches with their hand written notes in their specially designed boxes.
I adore these guys and give them the highest rating to give.
